Hello My Friend, Thanks for Stopping By

When Hurricane Katrina destroyed much of the Gulf Coast, I diverted all visitors to my web site with links to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. I hoped that some might contribute. The web site remained that way for over two and a half years.

It’s now time to restore the site and while I work on a suitable format, I will fill part of the space with a blog. A blog allows me to show some of my personal work, comment on the people I’ve met and the places my work has taken me and just expose what is on my alleged mind at the time.

In the Q&A section I will open up a dialogue with other photographers who may have questions about still photography in motion pictures. I get a steady flow of inquiries from photographers around the world who want to get into the field, but have no idea where to begin. Maybe I can provide some answers here.

With that in mind, this site begins. It will very likely shift in shape and content as I stumble my way through the process. I’m open to suggestions, or just smile and wave as you pass through.
